This is where the show fails, the training part of ninjas was a huge buildup in Naruto for the characters, where you were actually able to connect with the characters. The other brilliant thing was the story development, they give you a little teaser about the evil nine tails and every few episodes they kept on building on that, expanding the story and bringing in more characters, the development was beautiful and creative.īoruto has none of these things, the kids are just cheap knockoffs of their parents, and somehow they all are brilliant without any effort, they hardly train, yet somehow they are magically top notch ninjas. Naruto as a show was marvellous, from the very first few episodes you start liking the characters, you even feel bad for the villians like Haku and Zabuza in the very beginning, every character was unique and had a different skill set, one of the best things that people liked about the main character Naruto was his sheer will to not give up, despite lacking skills he worked hard, and so were the other characters unique in their own way, you'll love some, hate some, but one thing is for sure that you're connected to theme. You cannot watch this without comparing to the Naruto and that's where this anime is just a big flop. So this anime is just running purely on the fanbase of Naruto and despite this anime being horrible people are only watching it so they can find out about the end story of Naruto Uzumaki. So there are two kinds of viewers watching Boruto, one who have finished watching Naruto, and the others who have no clue about Naruto and started watching directly from Boruto, also those "others" don't exist. This sadly feels like a copy that is running out of ink. It gave us so many filler episodes but the story was so powerful that we don't care. What Kind of message is that? At this point I'm watching it out of love for the original story. Like their aspirations as Ninjas stopped when they got married with children. Actually it feels like all female characters have taken a backseat in the fight and action. She has Byakugan that we have not seen except once in 200 episodes. With Hima's character being useless with hmms and Papa, Mama and teasing Boruto once in a while, Just a background "little sister". Also how much do I hate the fact the Hinata is reduced to just cleaning the house and preparing meals. Not much build up to that huge decision of bringing him into the house. Before meeting him Naruto decide to have a connection and seeing himself in him. How the story dragged so much and then felt rushed when Kawaki was reviled. uuuuh its the same thing with different labeling. Yet I'm not very happy about the recycling of the story, the whole concept of the "vessel" genetically altered is the same old story literally and not done as well as it was the first time aka the Sasuke and Orochimaru story line. It is decent overall, I enjoy the fact that it's a continuation of a story that we know and grew up with.
